Oakdale, CA, January 18, 2024 – In an exciting move to enhance accessibility and community engagement, Visit Oakdale, the destination marketing organization for the City of Oakdale, has announced the relocation of its Oakdale Visitor Center. Starting February 7th, 2024, the Visitor Center will find its new home in the Oakdale Chamber of Commerce building.
The collaboration between Visit Oakdale and the Oakdale Chamber of Commerce signifies a new chapter of joint efforts, fostering creativity, cooperation, and shared goals for residents and global travelers alike, as highlighted by Cher Bairos, CEO of the Oakdale Chamber of Commerce.
"We're thrilled about bringing our operations into the city limits and creating a welcoming space for both visitors and locals to discover our community and all it has to offer," expressed Austin Romito, President of Visit Oakdale. "The Chamber building is the perfect spot for us, and we're excited to reconnect with the roots of where Visit Oakdale began.
